MUDRA - Student chapter
Mudra (Management of unconventional dawn research associates) an association for Management faculties and students founded in December 2006 by the Department of Management Studies, SKR Engineering College. The association is conducting National conferences, Workshops and Seminars for the students, academicians, research scholars, business & corporate people and some of the research articles from such programmes published through book volumes with ISBN. Now the association planned to publish a Monthly Management Magazine and e-Magazine in the name of MUDRA.
Industrial Visits
Department of Management Studies is very keen about practical exposure to students. So, with this in mind, MBA department develops rapport with various industries to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical knowledge. Students visit industries every month that creates awareness about the current trend in each and every sector. Students raise their doubts and get clarified by the technical experts. Students are empowered to develop their leadership skills based on the practices in various concerns. Students prepare their Industrial visit report which further enhances their presentation skills.

Lab Facilities
The department has well equipped Computer Lab facility with 20 Mbps speed Internet connection. Students can utilize lab with internet connection for thier academic developments. The department lab has various packages and software to comply the requirements of Anna University and AICTE.

Statistical Package for the Social science is a computer application that provides statistical analysis of data. It allows for indepth data access and preparation, analytical reporting, graphics and modelling, which also help our students for any research preparation.

The purpose of a Oracle database is to store and retrieve related information, which help the community to solve the problem of information management.

VB is a programming language and software development environment a futuristic graphical user interface which helps to design application page.
Tools for Operation research (TORA)
Tools for Operation Research is a package used to find out the optimum results of given problems based on the Operation research areas like Linear programming, Transportation and Assignment, Inventory control, Network techniques etc.

Tally is an accounts and inventory management software which is having many other features too, which helps the community to do financial management.

Microsoft office is an office suite having Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Access, which is very essential for the students future career.

GanttPV is a project management tool, helps the students to plan thier valuable time on different projects. They can schedule thier tasks easily to accomplish it at right time.

Xlminer is an Add in tool for Microsfot Excel to create, analyse and retireve databsae using different statistical tools like Multiple regression, Multiple Discriminant analysis, Cluster analysis and so on.
