Placement & Guidance Cell

The cell aims at finding the appropriate placement for each candidate commensurate with  his/her qualification and aptitude.  It prepares students to be employable by organizing lectures, Seminars, presentations and providing training through aptitude tests, Group discussions, mock interviews. It Provides information about job opportunities and prospects of Higher Education.

Another feature of the placement cell is that it keeps in touch with its alumni especially those who were not placed while on campus and offers them opportunities until they are suitably placed.

Entrepreneurship Development club

The Entrepreneurship Development Club supplements the activities of the “Placement and career Guidance cell”. The club conducts activities to foster entrepreneurs and their contributions to the Society.

Placement Policy

Placement cell has formulated an appropriate placement policy which is implemented and adhered by All our students.

Role of placement cell

The role of the placement cell is a facilitator and counselor for the placement related activities. The objective of the placement cell is to provide a job for each student registered in the placement cell.

Eligibility Criteria

The job postings along with the eligibility criteria will be displayed on the college notice board and communicated to students by email and SMS.

The students with a minimum attendance of 75% in both theory and practical in every semester are eligible for the campus interviews. Students below the 75% attendance need to take necessary approvals from the principal of the college. Similarly attendance in employability training programs organized by training and placement department should also be 75%. Any failure towards the same will require approval from Chairman and Principal.

All Hod’s are requested to provide the semester wise theory & practical marks to the placement cell to maintain records of students and the students would be selected for campus interviews accordingly.

Process and Regulations

Students should register himself/herself at the placement cell of the institute by submitting the relevant documents for any process.

The students should submit their latest Resume/Curriculum Vitae to their respective branch coordinator as softcopy as well as the hardcopy. The resume file should be in MS-Word format and the file name should be the students’ branch, batch (year of passing) and name.

Students must meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the company the eligibility criteria’s will be displayed on the college notice board for each placement interview.

Student eligible for any placement drive will have to give his/her consent before attending the same, to

the concerned co-ordinator or to the placement cell. Failing this the candidate will be marked absent for the said drive.

Students need to collect the hall ticket from the placement cell (if applicable). One day in advance before the day of the activity. No candidate will be allowed to attend the selection process without the hall ticket.

Students who fail to attend the placement drive both on and off campus, subsequent to his/her consent for attending the same, will be fined Rs.500/- or will be debarred for the next two placement activities.

While attending the placement drive process, students have to strictly adhere the following rules and be punctual. The students adhere by timelines and maintain punctuality for all placement drives.

Dress Code: Male- formals with neatly polished shoes and well groomed.

Female - formals

Resume - Format as approved by the placement cell along with a professional photograph.

Hall ticket - As applicable

Documents - Photo copies of all the relevant documents properly filled.

Students must keep their identity cards with them at the time of PPT / Aptitude Test / Group Discussion /Personal interviews and produce the same if demanded.

A job would be considered to be reflected only if the concerned student informs about the rejection to the Placement cell in person along with a regret letter towards the same.

Once the student is shortlisted by a company for placement process, he/she is not allowed to Contact the members of the team visiting the campus for the placement purpose without prior permission from the placement cell.

For students involved in any disciplinary cases, the College Management has the discretion to stop them from appearing in any campus selection process.

Students are requested to forward their well known contacts of companies so that the placement cell may formally invite these companies for placements.

Students are therefore urged to work towards placement preparations, in earnest right from the IInd year onwards and acquire skills required during placement interviews through the courses offered by our college.
